Mission Statement

As an expression of Christ’s love, we serve individuals and their caregivers with compassion and respect for independence, wellness, and spiritual life.

Lutheran Life Villages—the premier provider of senior residential living, senior healthcare, rehabilitation and other services has been providing compassionate, spiritually connected care to the people of Northeast Indiana since 1931. What started as the “Oak Street Home” has evolved to four thriving senior communities in the Fort Wayne area — The Village at Anthony Boulevard, The Village at KendallvilleThe Village at Pine Valley, and Piper Trail.

While a lot has changed, our mission to serve the older adults in our community in Indiana has remained the same. And as we continue to grow to serve our 55+ population, we will always strive to provide A Better Way of Living for our residents, our staff and everyone in our community.

Our mission: being there for our neighbors

We’ve been providing compassionate, spiritually connected care to the people of Northeast Indiana since 1931. What started as the “Oak Street Home” has evolved into four thriving, nonprofit senior communities in the Fort Wayne area — The Village at Anthony BoulevardThe Village at KendallvilleThe Village at Pine Valley and Piper Trail.

Our ministry: helping seniors and their families

Our Christian beliefs are a vital part of our ministry. We are a Lutheran organization, and believe there is no better comparison than to Christ himself as an example of care and love as we serve and work with others.

It’s also worth noting that we welcome – as residents, members of staff and volunteers – people of all faiths and walks of life.

Our organization: nonprofit

Many for-profit senior communities and nursing homes are often more concerned about meeting the expectations of their stockholders than their residents. As a nonprofit organization, we’re positioned better to serve the older adults of Northeast Indiana and to devote more resources to our senior communities.
