Lutheran Life Villages and Casa Consulting Announce Ownership Transition of The Village at Anthony Boulevard

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Lutheran Life Villages (LLV) and Casa Consulting today announced that they have entered into an agreement for Casa Consulting to acquire The Village at Anthony Boulevard, ensuring the continuation of the community’s long tradition of providing high-quality, compassionate care to residents while positioning the campus for future growth and investment.

The announcement follows a thoughtful and proactive process undertaken by Lutheran Life Villages to determine how best to serve the evolving needs of older adults and the Northeast Indiana community amid today’s rapidly changing healthcare environment.

“Over the last decade, we have invested nearly $10 million into our Anthony Boulevard campus, and I am incredibly thankful to our team members for their commitment to our mission to serve,” said Alex Kiefer, President and CEO of Lutheran Life Villages. “I am also excited about our agreement with Casa Consulting. We are confident they share our commitment to putting the needs of residents, families, and team members first, and we believe they are well positioned to build upon the strong foundation that has been established.”

“We are honored that Lutheran Life Villages has entrusted us with continuing the legacy of The Village at Anthony Boulevard,” said Moshe Siegal, CEO of Casa Consulting. “This community has earned an outstanding reputation for compassionate care, and we are excited to build upon that foundation. Our commitment is to invest in our residents, support our dedicated team members, strengthen relationships with families, physicians, hospitals, and referral partners, and continue enhancing the campus for years to come.

The ownership transition to Casa Consulting is expected to take place on September 1, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals. Throughout the transition, both organizations are committed to ensuring continuity of care, resident stability, and support for team members while maintaining seamless day-to-day operations.

“Our vision is for The Village at Anthony Boulevard to be one of Indiana’s premier continuing care retirement communities, recognized for exceptional clinical outcomes, outstanding customer service, beautiful surroundings, and an individualized resident experience,” said Siegal. “We are committed to a community where residents feel at home, families have complete confidence in their loved ones’ care, employees are proud to build their careers, and the Fort Wayne community views us as a trusted healthcare partner. We look forward to working alongside the outstanding team already in place to build an even stronger future together.”

Casa Consulting currently manages and operates senior living and skilled nursing communities throughout Indiana. The organization is dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality care in welcoming environments while fostering a culture of transparency, collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. The acquisition of The Village at Anthony Boulevard reflects Casa Consulting’s continued commitment to investing in Indiana communities and expanding access to exceptional senior care.

“Lutheran Life Villages will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2031 and intends to continue serving older adults and their families throughout Northeast Indiana through our remaining communities and future initiatives,” said Kiefer. “Needs are evolving across our region, and we look forward to sharing more about our long-term strategy and vision later this year. Our goal is to continue growing our impact on older adults as an even more widely valued community asset.”
