This position will require an RN or an LPN. While reporting to the Director of Nursing, the ideal candidate will be understanding of clinical care with the aging population. They will be able to organize care needs, assign appropriate staff to villages throughout the campus appropriately, monitor care being delivered, and evaluate job performance while helping individuals grow personally as well as professionally. This individual will also be expected to provides direct resident care as needed.

Job Qualifications

A. Education/Training:

  1. Registered/licensed nurse graduate from an accredited state approved school of nursing with current license to practice in the State of Indiana.

B. Experience:

  1. Prefer a minimum of two years experience in long-term care setting with charge, assistant charge or comparable responsibilities.
  2. One year acute care nursing preferred.

C. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  1. Strong, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  2. Understanding of the concepts of aging and the needs and concerns of the elderly.
