Job Duties
Job Qualifications

1.      Education/Training 

a)      Two year degree or higher is preferred.  One year experience within long-term care related to Admissions and/or Social Services preferred. 

2.      Experience 

a)      One year experience in relating to nursing home residents, families, and elderly in the community preferred. 

3.      Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

a)      Current knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and pre-screening preferred. 

b)     Knowledge of state and federal regulations as they pertain to nursing home admissions and a demonstrated capacity to comply with them preferred. 

c)      Knowledge of CCRC and levels of care  

d)     Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, residents, and families both in writing and orally. 

e)     Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
