This position is responsible for the financial processes and data management of the Foster Grandparent Program, and assists Director in supervising the Foster Grandparents.
1. Education/Training: Associate degree in accounting
2. Experience: Two years experience preferably in not-profit setting with senior population. 1-3 years of bookkeeping experience.
3. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
a) Expertise in Excel and Word for Windows
b) Familiarity with accounting principles, procedures, and software
c) Good organizational skills and detail oriented
d) Good oral and written communication skills
e) Must have access to a car and a valid driver’s license, in order to visit Foster Grandparents and sites.
